The annual CfMC Users' Conference is almost upon us. Register to attend by April 16th (deadline extended!) - you'll save $50 and will be entered into a drawing for one of five iPod Shuffles!

We have some great sessions planned for both the advanced training sessions on May 23 & 24 and the Users' Conference on May 25 & 26.

This year's conference highlights four functional areas of research - programming/systems, call center and project management, Web research and reporting, and business/sales management.

Be sure to plan on attending the Wednesday night President's Reception and the Thursday night CfMC party in your plans. These events are not to be missed. Viva Las Vegas!

Users' Conference Advanced Training Agenda

Advanced Training Sessions - May 23rd & 24th
register for these sessions

At $150/day these sessions are designed to keep your skills up-to-date without more costly on-site training. Join us for these informative sessions led by CfMC specialists!

Some advanced training sessions will include a "study hall" period, time allowed. A study hall period allows you to bring your specs and work on them with assistance from the instructor.

Track 1: Advanced webSurvent (full day)

This session's agenda includes advanced page design, utilizing CfMC-provided javascript, automated testing of Web surveys using SmartRDG, creating your own looks using skins and more!

Track 2: Mentor and Survent (two half-day sessions)

Track 3: quickSurvent Training and Demonstration
(half-day session and repeat)

CfMC's quickSurvent changes everything. This GUI development tool produces both Survent and webSurvent specs. Learn how to effectively use quickSurvent and teach others in your shop for greater survey-programming efficiency. This track consists of two half-day presentations including time for hands-on training.

Note: Attendees are encouraged to bring laptop computers to participate in the quickSurvent and study hall sessions.

This year's conference sessions are organized by functional area. See the agenda for each track on our Users' Conference site.

Track 1 - Programming / Systems - This track represents the core focus of previous years - developing CfMC programmers' skills, keeping you in the loop about new developments, and gathering feedback.

Track 2 - NEW! Project & Call Center Management - This new track is designed for call center supervisors and project managers. Learn how to better utilize supervisor, tips for managing sample and more! We're also pleased to host a special guest lecturer - Lucy Haydu of the MRA.

Track 3 - All Things Web - Further develop your Web reporting and webSurvent skills and learn more about CfMC Web project management tools.

Track 4 - Business / Sales (May 25th only)- This track is for managers of research firms and those selling your research services. These sessions will help you make the most of CfMC software - in operations and in selling more services.

UC Hotel information

The 2006 Users' Conference will be held at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel. This contemporary hotel is located near the Las Vegas Convention Center. The hotel does not have a casino, but it is conveniently located by the Las Vegas Monorail which will shuttle you to several casinos on the strip in 10 minutes or less.

Stay and Play before or after the conference!

The CfMC room rate for your stay is $169 per night. This rate is available for the weekend days prior (May 20-21) and following the conference (May 27 -28), assuming rooms are available when you book.
