Introducing Survent Version 8.3

More Power, More Data, More Options

Survent Version 8.3 will be released at our upcoming Users Conference (see above).

Aside from the CfMC Dialer, we have made these significant advances in collection and supervisory capabilities in Version 8.3:

Collection Capabilities: How can you call these limits? CfMC removes them all:

Up to 3x as many CATI interviewers per machine by using on-demand memory allocation and faster server i/o
20x increase in max sample size - up to 10 million records or 68 GB size
24 timezones per study (previously 8), allowing complete coverage around the world
4x as many phone statuses (Up to 999) - including the latest AAPOR codes

Supervisor Updates:

webSuper terminal CATI station control module
Complete control of webcati stations from supervisor (stop, change, etc.)
New Market reports across sample, Suspend reports, Timed Call reports

Interviewer Enhancements:

Better webCati Keyboard Input Mode (browser as terminal) and disallowed window closing
All screen sizes supported in Survent (eg. 100 X 100, not just 23 X 80)
View "Alter" mode allows WYSIWYG real-time data changes

Phone System Advances:

Batch assign phone numbers to special interviewers while live
Release today's timed calls only (not tomorrow's)

CfMC Offers AAPOR Compliant Report

The American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) has developed standard outcome statuses for a sample such that Completion Rates, Refusal Rates, Contact Rates, etc. can be reported on in a uniform fashion across the market research industry.

CfMC's expanded phone status scheme in version 8.3 has allowed the development of a disposition report that meets all of AAPOR's reporting requirements using their "Standard Definitions - Final Dispositions of Case Codes and Outcome Rates for Surveys".

Attendees at the CfMC Users' Conference will learn how to prepare this report using CfMC software.
