How does the CfMC Phone System work?
CfMC data collection software has the reputation of having the best sample management features in the industry. Here's a brief overview on using the CfMC phone system.

setting interviewing "shop" hours
- days of week your business is open
- start and stop time for interviewing
- time of day for making calls: mornings, evenings, etc.
- number of attempts to make (unlimited)
- automatic adjustment for time zones and daylight savings
creating a bank of phone numbers
- a bank of phone numbers is stored in the computer
- a phone number is presented on interviewer screen
- autodialer or predictive dialers may be used
- checks for valid day, time, special language interviewer
- applies up to 250 status codes: busy, no answer, callback, etc.
- interviewer may suspend call and set call back time
defining quotas for the questionnaire

- phone file information can be part of quota
- if a respondent does not qualify the interview is terminated
