about the CfMC Users' Conference
CfMC's annual CfMC Users' Conference has been a vehicle for client education and training since the first Users' Conference in 1983. Meeting locations vary from year-to-year, and it usually returns to San Francisco every three years.
Attendees receive the first glimpse of the latest CfMC software developments directly from our world-class and industry-building developers. Perhaps the greatest benefit of the Users' Conference is the direct impact users can have on our software development efforts - which helps us all be more effective and efficient in our work.
the annual CfMC Developers’ Contest
The Developers’ Contest showcases the most clever or effective use of CfMC products. Sharpen your skills and gather your wits. All users are invited to submit a working application using one or more CfMC products.
This year, the Developers' Contest will include two categories for developers and spec-wrtiters. Winning entries from each category will be awarded an iPod® Nano.
-
Category 1 - Wish list - Users are encouraged to submit a detailed explanation of a capability or function for CfMC software. Provide insight for CfMC staff as to how this wish will benefit your operation and other users.
The most feasible and beneficial entries, as determined by a team of CfMC developers and staff members, will be highlighted and promoted via CfMC.com and e-mail newsletters for their creativity and thought leadership. The winning entry will also be included in a future release of CfMC software.
-
Category 2 - Business Applications - Users are invited to submit entries that exhibit programming and communication prowess. Entries in this category may include webSurvent, webCATI / terminal-mode Survent product demonstrations, unique reporting applications of CfMC software, and other demonstrations of capabilities.
Winning entries that can be shared with non-users will be highlighted and promoted via CfMC.com and e-mail newsletters.

the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
Every year, CfMC takes and makes thousands of calls and sends and receives millions of emails with our clients and colleagues. We also conduct an annual customer satisfaction survey.
But only once a year do clients convene in person to discuss the direction taken (or to be taken) by CfMC, your favorite software provider.
This year, we ask that users in attendance at the Users' Conference attend the First Annual Squeaky Wheel Meeting.
Thursday afternoon (March 13) at 4:00pm of the Users' Conference, users convene a semi-private meeting to highlight and prioritize their concerns and wishes for CfMC software development and client services. The Squeaky Wheel Meeting is moderated by a CfMC client ombudsman.
Unable to attend the conference? Send an e-mail to Birju Jani .
