Three reasons why you should attend the CfMC Users' Conference
While there are many personal and professional reasons CfMC clients attend the Users' Conference, a few great reasons stand out.
- Grab the Edge - CfMC development updates and training
- Give Us a Piece of Your Mind - your insights are invaluable to our development
- Take Advantage of Your Community of CfMC users, developers, and staff
1. Grab the Edge with updates and trainings
Users attending the Conference receive first-hand (directly from the CfMC developers) updates and information about CfMC software developments, often at the core of their operations.
Staying current with the latest CfMC software helps you maintain your competitive edge in the marketplace. Our developers are constantly developing new products, features, utilities and tools. These developments are unveiled, presented and discussed in depth at the Users' Conference.
Conference sessions include “Tips and Tricks” on dialer configuration, Web reporting and more - all presented by the architects of CfMC's software and seasoned expert users.
Make the most of your trip to the conference by attending our advanced training sessions prior to the conference. With topics such as “Mentor for Survent Users” or “webSurvent 7.7 - How to use enhanced webSurvent capabilities,” you can exponentially increase your effective use of CfMC's robust capabilities at a fraction of on-site training costs.
Still unsure what you will take home? Check out this year's slate of training topics and conference sessions.
2. Give Us a Piece of Your Mind - your insights are invaluable to our development
Maintaining client-perspective is central to our ability to stay relevant in your world. Not only do attendees have direct access to the developers who know CfMC data collection and analysis software the best, we also provide a forum for prioritization of user requests in the form of our annual Corkscrew Sessions.
On the Thursday afternoon of the Users' Conference, users convene in a private meeting to highlight and prioritize their concerns and wishes for CfMC software and client services. Overnight, CfMC staff prepares a response for each of the items identified in the clients-only session.
The next day, CfMC's president presents the “Corkscrew Response” to conference attendees and addresses in detail each of the topics. The CfMC Corkscrew meeting is unique among software companies and is valuable to all involved in the process.
3. Take Advantage of Your Community of CfMC users, developers, and staff
With software as flexible as CfMC, clients have a variety of ways to get from point A to points B, C, and D. We encourage all CfMC script writers, developers, and research managers to participate in open discussions of how to get the most out of their software.
Have a burning question about sample management or CATI interviewing over the Web? You can always ask the CfMC development staff or your neighbor may have a tested solution that fits your operation more effectively.
Our annual Developers' Contest contest challenges our users to use the powerful Survent or Mentor engines to create functional and creative applications. The contest highlights some of the brightest users in the CfMC community.
Finally, let's not forget the camaraderie and kinship fostered by our two after-hours networking opportunities - the Wednesday night President's Reception and the Thursday night party!
